Meet Our Team
Warren and Tina Owens
Lead Pastors
Pastors Warren and Tina were called to open DayStar Church in 2014. With only themselves and a few dedicated members in the beginning, they remained faithful until they began to execute what God had planned all along. Services officially began in 2015. Warren and Tina have been involved in ministry for many years prior; including pastoring a church in Washington Courthouse and serving at a church in Grove City.
Together they have six children and four grandchildren.
They love to spend time with their family, exploring outdoors, and taking care of their fur babies. Warren especially enjoys the sport of archery!
Dalton & Jordyn Sparks
Teen Pastors and Dalton as Usher
Dalton and Jordyn have been attending Daystar since 2016. They first started as teens in our youth group and we have since welcomed them in 2022 as DayStar's new teen pastors! These newlyweds are passionate and have a heart for God like no other! Jordyn also leads the young women's bible study and is also the face behind DayStar's Instagram page! Dalton serves as the Usher in the church. In their free time they enjoy watching movies together, playing board games, staying active, and raising their puppy!
Trenton and Alyssa Hughes
Young Mens Leader and His Wife
Trenton has been with Daystar since the very beginning. He served as teen pastor for us for six awesome years!
In 2022 he passed on that roll to continue serving as our young mens leader. He has also served on the worship team since 2016 and is DayStar's right hand tech guy.
He previously served as National Youth Director for IPCC and has been on two missions trips to Africa. He is married and has two young children so his hands are always full! His wife Alyssa is one of the co-leaders of our young mother's group and also helps volunteer in the nursery! In their free time they love to hangout with their family, spend time outdoors, and worshiping at home.

Trenton Hughes, Rachel Peyton, Adriel Owens, Warren & Tina Owens
Our lead singers, drummer, pianist and guitarists. Most with us since our founding, they really bring their years of experience and skills to the heart of worship.
DayStar's worship team started out with just few guitars and a few singers in the beginning and has since added a drummer, pianist and a second guitarist!
They are all involved in other areas of ministry as well! See more in our kids ministry, bible studies, young mens and young mothers ministry!
Craig and Mary Cordle
Bible Study Teacher and Nursery Teacher
Craig and Mary Cordle have been attending DayStar Church since 2018. Craig is a tax preparer and accountant. Mary is a retired substitute teacher. They have two children and one grandchild.
Brother Craig has been active in teaching ministry for over thirty-seven years. His passion for the Bible is evident through his teachings and has developed an expertise in end-time Bible prophecy. He also has been apart of prison ministry, teaching numerous Bible study and home groups.
Mary Cordle is a devoted member of DayStar who continuously serves others with encouragement, kindness, and compassion. Her gifting has been displayed through different Children ministry platforms, Bible camps, and through choir/specials, and music with children.

Kristin McPherson
She would say that she is not special but she truly is a gem! A woman of God, genuine, trustworthy, fun, and funny! These are just a few ways we describe this invaluable member of our team. Kristin is truly a joy to be around and always makes you feel welcome and important. She is amazing with children and always knows how to make the lesson fun!
She has been with DayStar since 2015. She is a wife and mother of three adult children and one fur baby.
Some things she enjoys doing in her free time are spending time with her family, playing games of all kinds, and traveling when she can!
